When Best Made Company was founded by Peter Buchanan-Smith and Graeme Cameron in 2009, it quickly became a trusted source and curator for heirloom-grade objects that were beautiful, durable, and useful. Beyond just selling in-house products, their collaborations and partnerships were also a way to discover other brands with a similar thoughtfulness and attention to beauty and utility.
The Archive is a celebration of Best Made’s catalogs and the products of that era, and most importantly a guide to the makers behind the products, and the collaborators who helped bring the brand to life in photography and design.
